Leah Kaminsky, Religious Education Coordinator
Hi, I’m Leah (she, her)!
I joined the UUS team in August 2023 as the part-time Religious Education Coordinator! I help organize religious education programming, and youth activities in collaboration with the Director of Lifespan Religious Education. I also assist and teach in classes some Sundays, as well as working with the youth group. I’ve combined my love of our church with my passion for creativity and youth culture, to further our youths quest for meaning, and understanding of love and equality.
I am a musical and artistic personality from North Liberty, IA. I was born and raised here in Iowa, and have been a member of UUS my whole life. I am a vocal performance major at the University of Iowa, with a strong interest specifically in jazz. I’m always open for a passionate discussion of music!
