5th Sunday Offering Benefits Iowa LEAP
On months with five Sundays, we pick one week to spotlight a specific need to support through our extra offering. On October 29th, the Social Justice Team has chosen Iowa LEAP (iowaleap.org) as our 5th Sunday community partner. Iowa LEAP provides academic tutoring and enrichment in all academic areas for students in grades K-12. Through mentorship, financial support, and volunteers with targeted areas of expertise, lowa LEAP strives to help students become financially stable and successful in their chosen career paths.
Cash and check donations are collected during the Sunday service offering. Checks should be made out to UUS and have “DVIP” or “Iowa LEAP” on the memo line. You can also donate online at https://bit.ly/UUSPartner, text “GivetoUUSIC Partner” to 73256, or mail a check to the UUS office.
