Winter Clothing Drive

The UU Society supports the Consultation of Religious Communities Winter Clothing Drive.  All sizes of clothing are needed, including adult sizes.  A labeled box for winter clothing collection will be in the UUS entryway until Sunday, October 13.  If you do not have any gently used clothing to donate, consider buying something new, such as coats, gloves, hats, and boots.

Volunteers are needed to eat cookies and sort clothing!  The sorting takes place at River Community Church, 3001 Muscatine Avenue, Iowa City.   You can sign up for a sorting shift on Sunday, Monday  and Tuesday, October 13-15 but volunteers are also needed on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, October 16-18 to assist families who come to the distribution.  Sign up with this link (warm children will thank you):
